This walking tour is absolutely spot on ... a cracking two hours of lively conversation
We had a fantastic day ... a really good way to see Edinburgh
From kilts and kings to glaciers and volcanoes, and from the wynds and closes of Edinburgh's medieval Old Town, to the wide open Georgian-era terraces of the New Town, find out about the people who have lived (and died) here, how the city has grown and changed over the last nine hundred years, and discover what gives Edinburgh its unique character.
Departing from the bottom of Granny's Green Steps at the western end of the Grassmarket at 10.00am on Saturdays and Sundays, this Edinburgh tour takes you through both the Old and New Town areas to examine the contrasting halves of this historic city.
Tours last approximately 2 - 2.5 hours and are limited to a maximum of 10 people per tour. Tickets cost £15 per adult and advance booking is essential!
The tour will cover approximately two miles of city terrain, featuring moderate hills, cobbles and steps. The tour returns to the Grassmarket at the end of the route. Tours leave whatever the weather, and sensible footwear is advised.
