A fantastic tour ... Cannot recommend highly enough!
The Royal Mile is the backbone of Edinburgh's Old Town, stretching between the two royal sites - Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
This walking tour takes us through and around this medieval city from bottom to top - we explore the narrow alleyways dotted along the route, and uncover stories from the city's history and the people who have lived here.
Departing from outside the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Abbey Strand at 1.00pm, the guided tour finishes outside Edinburgh Castle.
Tours last approximately 2 hours and are limited to a maximum of 10 people per tour.
Tickets cost £20 per adult and advance booking is essential through TripAdvisor or Viator...
The route features moderate hills, cobbles and steps. Please wear sensible footwear, and dress for the weather...
